Believers are eternally secure in Christ Jesus. Let's look over some Bible verses that give us assurance of our eternal salvation.
✝️ We are IMPUTED with Christ's righteousness the moment we believe the gospel (1 Cor 15:3-4), we do not have our own righteousness.
2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
✝️ Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
Romans 5:1
5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
✝️ There is NO condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus (and there is no self-condemnation to those believers who walk after the Spirit instead of after the flesh)
Romans 8
8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
✝️ We have been translated into the kingdom of His dear Son
Col 1:13
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
✝️ We are sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption (the rapture)
Eph 1:13-14
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
✝️ Even if we at some point stop believing, God remains faithful. He cannot deny Himself.
2 Tim 2:13
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
