Believers are eternally secure in Christ Jesus. Below are some key Bible verses that can help you understand our eternal security. Studying Romans chapters 1-8 is also helpful. 

After Salvation what should I do? If you have clearly understood that you are a sinner who cannot save yourself, and have then believed the Gospel of the grace of God (how that Christ Jesus died for your sins, was buried and he rose again for your justification; see 1 Cor 15: 1-4) then you are now saved! Romans 3:23 says " For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" And Romans 3: 10-12 says, " As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one." So what is man to do? Well, we cannot earn our way to righteousness or to heaven. We can only be saved by Gods grace.
