A New Creature in Christ | Careful for Nothing Grace Devotional

2Co 5:17 KJV -

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We are not who we once were in our inner man. Our old man resides in the flesh and it remains the same and cannot be changed. **It has been cut off from our spirit, spiritually speaking.** One day we will have a glorious body and will be completely free from the old man. However, in our inner man, we have God's Spirit living in our spirit. And as we read and study God's word rightly divided, we also have the mind of Christ. Through Christ we can do all things. He gets us through anything that we endure in this life. He never leaves us (he lives in us as believers) and he comforts us through His word.

Gal 2:20 KJB

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

2Co 1:3 KJB

3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

We are also members of His body and believers are members one of another. We need some kind of regular fellowship with other believers, especially those of a like mind (grace brethren who rightly divide the scriptures). If you have a Midacts Rightly Divided Dispensational Grace church in your area, I recommend attending regularly. Fellowship with other believers can also be great for helping you to overcome anxiety, stress, fear, worry and depression. There are no absolutely perfect churches, but a good bible believing grace church is the best option. If you don't have a good grace church in your area, reach out to fellow grace believers on social media through groups or zoom group bible studies. Try to make at least one friend that you can call weekly or every other week to do Bible study with or to just talk to and encourage one another through the word.

Rom 12:5 KJB

5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

1Th 5:11 KJB

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Biblical Foundations of Contentment The Bible offers profound wisdom on finding contentment and joy, irrespective of material wealth. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which ...
