The holiday season can be a whirlwind of activities, especially for homemakers with children. Balancing the demands of family, home, and holiday preparations can be overwhelming. However, as Christian homemakers, we can find ways to slow down and savor this special time, focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. Here are some practical steps, enriched with verses from the King James Bible, to help you enjoy the holiday season with your family. Begin Each Day with Prayer and Scripture Starting your day with prayer and reading the Bible can set a peaceful tone for the rest of the day. Psalm 5:3 says, “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” Taking time to connect with God each morning can provide the strength and guidance needed for the day’s tasks. Are you open to reproof and correction?

I love to teach and talk about grace and faith. However, it's important to also teach and talk about reproof and correction. Much of Paul's epistles are focused on all of these things. Romans is primarily about grace and faith.   1st Corinthians is primarily a reproof for a carnal church. Galatians is a doctrinal correction . Ephesians- is advanced understanding of grace and faith in our dispensation.  Philippians is reproof in behavior to live joyfully even amidst suffering. Colossians is more doctrinal correction . Etc.  I ask myself sometimes if I'm open to receive reproof and correction. Over the last year that's certainly been the case. I am still learning and maturing spiritually through the word so I'm sure there will still be plenty of reproof and correction for me in the future! How about you?
