Romans 1:14-15 | Womens RD Bible Study

In Romans 1 Verses 13-17 is the Gospel. Today we will be discussing verses 14 and 15. Thank you Father God for this glorious gospel of the grace of God, how that Christ Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again for our justification and that when we simply BELIEVE this gospel we are given eternal life! 14  I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise . Paul was sent out to preach the Gospel of the grace of God to the Gentile Nations. This includes both the educated (Greeks) and the uneducated (Barbarians), the wise and the unwise. As ambassadors for Christ we are NOT to discriminate between groups of people, but to share the gospel of the grace of God with anyone and everyone who is willing to hear it. Sadly there have been many instances where Christendom did not freely share the gospel with all people, but would share it only with those they deemed "worthy" of becoming members of their particular church congregations ...

Romans 1:13 | Womens RD Bible Study

In Romans 1 Verses 13-17 is the Gospel. Today we will be discussing verse 13. Father God thank you so much for sending your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to be a propitiation for our sins! In Jesus name, amen.  13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. Paul is letting the Roman believers know that he sincerely cares about their spiritual understanding of the gospel of the grace of God. He doesn't want them to be ignorant - but ignorant of what? Their standing with God first of all and who they are NOW in Christ. Why is it important to understand these things? Because with this clear understanding, we can then choose to walk in the Spirit, instead of after the flesh, and then Christ is living in and through us. This brings glory to God, helps unbelievers come unto Christ (as they see Christ living in and through us and as we share a ...

Romans 1: 11-12 | Womens RD Bible Study

Thank you Father God for this time that we can spend in your Holy Word, the King James Bible. Thank you also that we can continue to learn this week from the scriptures how believers are to pray today as well as understanding the importance of edification.  We are continuing to discuss the verses in Paul's prayer in Romans chapter 1; today we wil specifically discuss verse 11 today.  11  For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; What is the spiritual gift? Edification. Well, what is the edification in the entire book of Romans? It's understanding who we are in Christ so that we can yeild ourselves to serve righteousness instead of sin. It's all about allowing Christ to live in and through us as believers every day!  In order to understand who we are in Christ we have to understand first of all who we were before our salvation - we were sinners ["in Adam"]. 1 Corinthians 15:22 KJB " For as in Adam ...

Thankful for Being Able to Serve God

This is our last study for the Thankfulness Series, however as you read and study God's word more on your own and grow spiritually, you will find even more things to be thankful to God for! Today we will talk about being thankful for being able to serve God as a Believer, especially as someone who understands rightly dividing and the mystery.  Romans 12:1-2 says, " I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Colossians 3:23-24 23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ...

Thankful for God's Creation and Provision

Believers have so many things to be thankful for and this includes all of His creation. Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." Psalm 24:1 "The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein." Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:3 "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." Genesis 1:26-28 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of t...

Romans 1: 8-10 | Womens RD Bible Study

Thank you Father God for this time that we can spend in your Holy Word, the King James Bible. Thank you also that we can learn from the scriptures how believers are to pray today.  This section of scripture, verses 8-12, is Paul's prayer; we will discuss verses 8-10 today.  8  First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. I love how Paul begins by saying that he is THANKFUL to God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, for all of the saints in Rome and that their faith in Christ Jesus is now known in the world. As believers we ought to be thankful for fellow believers and we have many other things to be thankful for as well. I have been recording and writing a series of podcasts and blog posts on thankfulness which you might find helpful to your Bible studies and application of sound grace doctrine to your everyday life. Being thankful is part of God's will for us as believers.  1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJ...

Thankful for Our Blessed Hope

Today's study I will be talking about how believers ought to be thankful for our blessed hope. Well, what is the blessed hope? The rapture! The rapture is a monumental moment that is going to occur in the future for all members of the church the Body of Christ. It is much more than just us being taken out of here before the 7 year tribulation. It is the culmination (ending) of the dispensation of grace in which believers are gathered up by Christ unto Himself (we meet the Lord in the air); we receive our glorified eternal bodies; we are reunited with loved ones who are also in Christ; And we will then live peacefully forever with Christ in the Heavenly places! We are also delivered completely from the fallen, sinful world and in our glorified bodies we will never sin again nor will we ever experience sickness, pain or death. We will never have to deal with Satan's lies and persecution either ever again! After the rapture, we will have our believers judgement and receive our Hea...

Romans 1: 6-7 | Womens RD Bible Study

Romans 1: 6-7 | Womens Rightly Divided Bible Study  Thank you Father God for this time that we can spend in your Holy Word, the King James Bible. Thank you that we can continue today to study the introduction to Romans and learn more about our calling and that believers are saints now, identified with Christ. In Jesus name Amen. We are continuing our study in Romans chapter 1, specifically we are continuing to study the introduction to Romans. We will be going over verses 6 and 7 today. 6  Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: The called are all believers. God wants for all men (people) to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. He is not picking some people to be saved and then others to go to hell. We have freewill. God does have foreknowledge, but He allows mankind to choose to believe Him or not to. There is no universal salvation either (a false belief that everyone is automatically saved and/or that all people will end up in heaven eventually ...
