Romans 3:27-31 | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

Romans 3:27-31 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. No one in heaven will ever boast about what they did to get there. Every saved soul is saved because of God's amazing grace. Not everyone is automatically saved though as we do need to believe the gospel in order to be saved, but faith is NOT a work. God has given us all freewill (volition) to choose to believe God or not to. Those who never believe will spend eternity in the lake of fire. Those who choose to believe God and His gospel will spend eternity with Him! 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. This is one of the most important verses in the Bible for us in this dispensation of grace to understand. How it is that most of Christendom doesn't understand this verse is beyond me! How some preachers or priests can preach works for salvation for many years to their congregation and just completely ignore verses like ...

Why Rightly Divide? To understand salvation today

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Tim 2:15 One of the most important reasons to rightly divide the scriptures, is so that you are not putting yourself or others under the law and also so that you will understand, believe and preach the correct gospel. Let's discuss this.  1) Putting yourself under the law when you don't rightly divide. Without a clear understanding that we are not under law, but under grace, you will inevitably put yourself and others around you under law.  "... for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Romans 6:14b KJV "For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God." Gal 2:19 "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." Gal 2:21 "Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?" Gal 3:3  "Christ hath...

Romans 3:21-26 | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

Romans 3:21-26 In the previous verse we learned that the purpose of the law was to show us our sin nature and our desperate need for a savior. We cannot save ourselves. We cannot keep the law. However we have some wonderful news! Romans 3:21-26 tells us the wonderful news! Romans 3:21-26 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:  23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, an...

Living Simply for Homemakers

Romans 12:8 “... he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.” As Christian wives, mothers and homemakers, instead of living for the things of this world, we are to stay heavenly minded. We talked about contentment and thankfulness previously and I want to talk about a practical way to apply that, which is to live more simply. This can include keeping a simple homemaker schedule and daily routines as mentioned previously, as well as not spending more than we or our husbands make by keeping a budget, not overwhelming our homes with too much stuff (we don't have to be extreme minimalists either though), etc.  We can also keep our conversations polite, clean and edifying. Practice good manners and basic etiquette. We can choose to let go of the need to try and keep up with all of the fashions of this world and choose to live simple instead. 1 Corinthians 7:31 says, 31 "And they that use this wo...

Teach what you know | How to Study the Bible Basics

Preach the word (Teach what you know) Once you have understood foundational doctrine in the book of Romans, you can then begin to teach others what you know (even before then you can share a clear gospel message with others at anytime after you have been saved). Continue to read and study through the Pauline epistles and teach whoever is willing to listen, what you have learned. If you are on social media, you can share and re-share posts by yourself and other grace believers about the gospel and sound grace doctrine. You can tell others in person through conversations or having a bible study in your home. If you aren't confident to teach a basic bible study yet, you can watch and share videos by Grace pastors and Bible study teachers. There are groups that get together in their homes and watch grace preachers and Bible study teachers together. As you grow in knowledge and wisdom of God's word, you will also gain more confidence to teach others. I teach others through my blogs...

Romans 3:20 | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

After realizing that both Jew and Gentile are under sin, as clearly taught in previous verses (as well as in Romans chapters 1&2), and that no one keeps or is even capable of keeping the law, we come to a conclusion: Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Let's look closely at this verse. The word "therefore" is a helping word to bring us to a conclusion. Paul says THEREFORE, by the deeds (works; trying to keep the law) of the law shall no flesh be justified in his sight. Paul is telling us that NO MAN IS CAPABLE OF KEEPING THE LAW (except for the Lord Jesus Christ). But why? Because the law is given to reveal to us our sin nature. He goes on to say, "FOR BY THE LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN." How many churches today actually understand this? 🤔 Not many! Most of Christendom has put people UNDER the law! Even if they do teach that we are saved by grace through faith ...

Reducing Stress in the Home

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   We can be homemakers without being stressed out. Stress is being overwhelmed by the things in life. God wants us to "be careful for nothing" and to instead pray and let our requests be made known unto God. What this means is to not fret or obsessively worry ourselves about the things of this world but to stay heavenly minded. Then, we are to pray based upon God's word rightly divided, knowing and understanding what God is doing today in the dispensation of grace, which for believers is to mature us spiritually and for us to share the gospel with others.  On a very practical level, one way to reduce stress at home is to have less worldly influence in your home. Are you spending the day watching the news, with all of its negative reports about crime, politics and celebrity gossip? How about spending more time listening to Bible ...

Learn to Rightly Divide the Scriptures | Bible Study Basics

In a previous study I mentioned the importance of being established in sound grace doctrine in the book of Romans, and that we are to rightly divide the scriptures. Rightly Divided Bible Study is essential to understanding the scriptures. I will be doing a more thorough study series regarding Rightly Divided Bible Study but let's briefly look at some verses: 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Study [we are to study God's word, not just read it occasionally, but to really study it out verse by verse] to shew thyself approved unto God [being approved unto God means that we are functioning in the way that God wants believers to function, and that can only be accomplished by getting sound grace doctrine in our inner man, believing it and obeying it; we also want to earn rewards for the heavenly places], a workman that needeth not to be ashamed [many believers will be ashamed at the judgment seat of Christ in heaven because they did not rightly divide and some even refused to rightly divide and the...

Romans 3:19 | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

Romans 3:19 19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. This is such an important verse to understand. The law actually condemns everyone. All people, Jew and Gentile are guilty before God. The law was never given to us to try to keep in our own efforts, but was given to reveal our sin nature. When you are an unbeliever and you read the 10 commandments, you will (or should) realize that you have broken these commandments. But even before reading the 10 commandments you will have some understanding that you sometimes want to do certain good things, but that you fail to do them or you fail to do them consistently. This is our conscience and it also condemns us. There is the Mosaic law given to the Jews and the law of the conscience given to all people. Adam, Noah, Abraham, David and all saints from times past (and anyone saved in our current dispensation)...

Being Content as Homemakers

Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. Paul had to LEARN to be content and this is also something that we need to learn. In fact Paul also said in 1 Timothy 6:8 " And having food and raiment let us be therewith content ." He mentions food and clothing and doesn't even mention shelter! Most of us in western society have far more than just food and clothing! Can we learn to be content? Yes! Paul also goes on to say in 1 Timothy 6: 9-11, "9 But they that will be rich [meaning those who make their lives all about "the mighty dollar"] fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow afte...

Get Established in Sound Grace Doctrine | How to Study the Bible

How to Study the Bible #3:  Get Established in Sound Grace Doctrine After you are saved and have decided to exalt God's word above all else, it's important to get established in foundational grace doctrine which is specifically for us today, the church the Body of Christ in the dispensation of grace. The book of Romans establishes the believer. The word established means to be " set; fixed firmly; founded; confirmed." As believers God wants us to be firmly rooted in grace doctrine. The doctrines in Romans that we are to fully know and understand includes: • Justification • Eternal Security • Identification • Dispensational changes (why God temporarily set aside Israel) • Service as a Believer • Authority in the dispensation of grace • Dealing with weaker brethren by grace • Glorifying God • Working in unison with fellow believers After we are saved, God wants us to know Him, serve Him as sons, and gain rewards in heaven. We are also to study the scriptures ...

Romans 3:10-18 | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

Father God, thank you for this time that we can spend reading and studying your word, in particular today the book of Romans chapter 3. And again, thank you also Father God for preserving your word for us perfectly and without error in the King James Bible.  Romans 3:10-18 This section of Romans chapter 3, in verses 10-18 is in reference also to Psalm 14:1-3 which says, 14 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.  2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.  3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Now let's read Romans 3:10-18. I did briefly discuss verses 10 and 11 in our last study, but let's look over this whole section.  10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:  11 There is none ...
