Romans 5:17-21 | Verse by Verse Rightly Divided Bible Study

Thank you Father God for this time that we have to read and study your word. I pray Lord for all who are reading or listening to these studies in Romans, that they would sincerely come to understand that we are sinners and that we cannot save ourselves, and then simply believe how that Christ Jesus died for their sins, was buried and rose again for their justification. I pray that they would come to understand also that once we are saved, we can never loose our salvation and are eternally secure in Christ. Thank you so much Father for teaching us this in the foundational doctrines of grace here in Romans. In Jesus's name we pray, Amen .  Romans 5:17-21 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Although Adam's one sin caused death to reign in the world, Christ's death, burial and resurrection as atonement for our sins causes believers to ...

Living by Christ's Faithfulness |

We are justified by the faith OF Jesus Christ when we believe IN Jesus Christ and in what He did for us through His death, burial and resurrection. Galatians 2:16 in the KJB says, 16 "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." As believers we live by the faith OF the Son of God as we read, study, believe and obey His word rightly divided. God sanctifies and transforms us by His Spirit by faith in what God tells us in His word.  Gal 2:20 KJV -  20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Our faith grows as we read and study God's word rightly ...

The Dispensational Transition | Rightly Dividing Basics

The Dispensational transition The book of Acts is truly an incredible book. But, it can be confusing for those who do not rightly divide the scriptures. Without understanding the dispensational changes that occurred in the book of acts, you will think that God's word contradicts itself and/or you might not understand God's will for us today.  First, the book of acts continues on from the book of John. The Lord Jesus Christ came to save all people from their sins. He is the savior of all of mankind. But this wasn't clearly understood until after his death, burial and resurrection. In fact, what Christ accomplished at the cross wasn't even fully revealed until after Acts chapter 9. It's most understood after studying the whole Bible rightly divided, but only believers who rightly divide the scriptures can understand the depths of God's Two-fold Plan. I will go into detail about all of this throughout this series of studies.  Ephesians 3:1-11 says, 1 For this cause...

Romans 5:15-16 | Verse by Verse Rightly Divided Bible Study

Thank you Father God for this time that we can spend reading and studying your word. Thank you Lord for teaching us that the result of sin is death and that we are all sinners in need of a savior. Thank you for providing us with a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ who died for our sins, was buried and rose again for our justification. When we recognize our sin nature and then simply believe the gospel, we have eternal life in Christ. In Jesus's name we pray, amen. Romans 5:15-16 15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. Christ's atonement for our sins is a more powerful thing than Adam's spiritual death being passed upon all men. It has to be stronger or else we would all still be doomed! Because of Adam's sin, the sin nature is passed down to all people. Adam was previously innocent, with the choice to ...

Complete in Christ | Grace Devotional

Believers are Complete in Christ Col 2:10 KJV 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: I do not need to compare myself to others, because I am complete in Christ.  2 Cor 10:12b ...but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. I do not need to try to fit in with this world because this world is NOT my home and I am complete in Christ.  Col 2:8 KJV -  8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 1Co 7:31 KJV -  31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away. My past is no longer who I am, because I am a new creature in Christ who is also complete in Christ.  2Co 5:17 KJV -  17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed ...

Our Appointed Apostle Paul| Rightly Dividing Basics

Our Appointed Apostle Paul   One of the first things to learn about rightly divided bible study is regarding our appointed Apostle for today.  Romans 11: 13 in the KJB says, "For I [the Apostle Paul] speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:" Most of Christendom doesn't seem to see this verse in their Bible. It's like they have been blinded to it. But no wonder because that is Satan's policy of evil against us. He doesn't want believers to know that Paul is our Apostle today or to know or understand anything about rightly divided bible study (Satan tries to hide other important doctrines as well) and the grace message.  2 Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world [Satan] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 1 Tim 1 says "Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour,...

1 Corinthians 1:2-3 | Verse by Verse Bible Study

Thank you Father God for this time that we have to spend together to read and study your word rightly divided, in particular today as we continue to study 1st Corinthians. Thank you Father that because of Christ's death, burial and resurrection as atonement for our sins, believers are now saints and I pray that we will all learn how to live a more holy and sanctified life for your glory. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus's name we pray amen .  1st Corinthians 1:2-3 2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's: The Corinthian church is the most carnal church in the Pauline epistles. Yet, they are still believers and Paul says that they "are sanctified in Christ Jesus". Believers are sanctified the very moment that they believe the gospel. Sanctified means "set apart; as well as "holy".  That b...
