Romans 1: 4-5 | Womens RD Grace Bible Study

Romans 1: 4-5 KJB Thank you Father God for this time of Bible study and for your precious word. Thank you for the book of Romans that establishes us in the sound grace doctrine that you want for us to know, understand, believe and live out. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.  We are continuing our study in Romans chapter 1, specifically we are continuing to study the introduction to Romans. We will be going over verses 4 and 5 today. Verse 4 says,  And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: Jesus has always been the Son of God but he was specifically DECLARED to be the Son of God when He was raised from the dead. God says in Acts 13:33, “ This day have I begotten Thee ” and John 3:16 says, “ His only begotten Son ”. He wasn't declared to be Gods Son, even though He's always been Gods Son, until His resurrection.  Jesus conquered death and has power over death. Jesus was also holy meaning he had never sin...

Thankful for Fellow Believers

Paul is often expressing in his Epistles how thankful he is for fellow believers.  Phil 1:3-5 KJB "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;" This teaches us also that we should pray as well for other saints, primarily for their edification, that they will continue the work of the ministry, that they will grow in grace, that they will be comforted in the word etc. We should be thankful for any time that we can spend with fellow believers- in person, over the phone, in texts and social media. Spending time in person together with fellow believers for Bible study is most ideal.  We should be thankful also for any believing family and friends that we have, even if we don't agree with them on doctrine or if they have chosen to live worldly. We are not thankful for their bad doctrine or their carnal living, but we are thankful that they are be...

My Personal Testimony | New Age to Grace Believer

*Written in November of 2022 I thought I would share my personal testimony with those of you who may be new to my blog, podcasts and videos.  My name is Adrienne Jason and I am a wife to Shawn Jason and a mother to our daughter Serena. I was saved as a little girl but wasn't brought up with a clear understanding of scripture. I attended church camp once, Wednesday night Bible study on occasion with friends and went to a few "vacation Bible schools" too with my siblings. Our whole family attended church a few times together and we did have a Bible study together at home for a few weeks once. I did also attempt to read the Bible on my own as a little girl but didn't understand much. I did know that God (Jesus) created everything and he had lived on the earth and healed people during his earthly ministry, and that He died for our sins, was buried and rose again (I didn't know anything about rightly dividing). **I had BELEIVED the gospel!** I also knew a little bit ab...

Thankful for God's Word | Thankful Series

As believers we should be thankful for the word of God " All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works ." 2 Tim 3:16-17 KJB As believers we ought to be thankful for God's provision of His living word and specifically for His preserved word of God, the King James Bible, rightly divided. • The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Psalm 12:6-7 KJB • Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth . 2 Tim 2:15 God's word helps us to grow up spiritually. • As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. 1 Peter 2:2 • Let the word of Christ dwell in you ri...

Romans 1:1-3 | Womens RD Grace Bible Study

ROMANS 1:1-3 KJB | Verse by Verse Bible Study for Women  Romans 1: 1-3 - so we have reviewed some of the basic teachings in Romans chapter 1, so let's go over the verses more closely, verse by verse.  But first, feel free to begin this Bible study with prayer.  So verses 1-7 are the introduction. Today we are going to discuss verses 1-3. 1. Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, Again we have talked about how Paul is our appointed Apostle for the dispensation of grace ( see here ). Paul is completely separate from the 12 apostles (Gal 2:7-9). He writes specifically to the body of Christ, but he will also mention throughout his Epistles the unsaved Gentiles and Jews as well as the Jewish believing remnant. Paul qualifies as an Apostle because he saw the risen and ascended Lord Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus (Christ's light had blinded him temporarily) and was saved and called to be an apostle for the dispensation o...

Thankful for Our Identity in Christ

Thankful for our Identity in Christ Before our salvation, we were spiritually dead in out trespasses and sins and were children of wrath, " Ephesians 2:1-3 KJB " And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others ." But now we are a new creature in Christ Jesus 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJB " Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new ." We are now holy and blameless in Christ, Colossians 1:21-22 kjb “ And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled...

Not Aahamed of the Gospel | Romans 1 Bible Study

Romans Bible Study  | Not ashamed of the Gospel Romans chapter 1 verse 16 says, " For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek ." Why to the Jew first? Well, the Jews were the first ones to hear the Gospel! But Jew and Gentile today are on equal footing, both are equal at the foot of the cross. Anyone saved today, Jew or Gentile  becomes a member of the body of Christ. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that does what? Believes ! If you notice, it doesn't say to everyone who tries to keep the ten commandments. It doesn't say to everyone who gets water baptized. It doesn't say to everyone who joins a church or pays a tithe or prays a special prayer or confesses all of their sins or any other work of any kind! It's important to notice what the Bible DOESN'T say sometimes too because religion will often try to add to God...
