I'm Saved, Now What?

After Salvation what should I do? If you have clearly understood that you are a sinner who cannot save yourself, and have then believed the Gospel of the grace of God (how that Christ Jesus died for your sins, was buried and he rose again for your justification; see 1 Cor 15: 1-4) then you are now saved! You are now a child of God, with Christ’s righteousness imputed to you,  and all of your sins -- past, present and future -- are now completely forgiven!  If you are NOT saved, please CLICK HERE and read about the gospel.  Here is what I recommend that you can do after you have been saved (after believing the gospel of your salvation): 1) First, I do recommend getting a King James Bible  and begin to read and study the book of Romans, which is foundational doctrine for the believer today . I have started a simple series of videos/podcasts going through Romans available on my YouTube channel and blog ( click here for the first blog). You will learn many important th...

Only Jesus Saves

Only Jesus Saves Let's go back over a few things in Romans chapter 1. In verses 3 and 4 Paul says, " Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:" This is clearly teaching us that it is only through the Lord Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved. Jesus died for our sins on the cross but he also ROSE FROM THE DEAD so that we too could be raised to new life. No one in the history of the world, including any religious figure, except for the Lord Jesus Christ, died and then rose from the grave in a GLORIFIED BODY and who is STILL ALIVE TODAY in the Heavenly Places waiting to rapture up the Body of Christ at just the right time. After the church is raptured out, when the church the Body of Christ is fully formed and ready to take their place in the heavens, then God will resume his program with Israel.  J...

Understand Man's Sin Nature

Romans 1: 22-32 really lays out mans wickedness and why God's wrath is just. Let's just read the verses, and you can see for yourself the depravity of man in his flesh. 22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, First, God is showing us that man really thinks that with his religion, philosophies, moralism, scientific discoveries, art, inventions and sinful lifestyle choices that he is so wise! But God says they are fools! In our flesh, we (mankind) really think that what we think and do is above God and His word.  23  And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. This is the introduction of idolatry. Please keep in mind that these verses are not just speaking about mankind in general in the past, but also each individual persons choices when they are not at peace with God (which is all unbelievers). Some may be more extreme than others in their actions, but...

Understanding God's Judgment

Romans 1 | God's Judgment  Man is in a desperate situation. Man is born with a sin nature and needs a new nature in order to have peace with God, and to be a member of God's family. Romans 1: 18-19 in the KJB says " For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them." First, God's wrath and judgement is just. Not one person in the time of judgment will be able to say that God is wrong or that God is not holy. God's holiness is eternal and true. Man in his own flesh is not holy, far from it, no matter how hard he tries or what religious or moral rules he puts himself under. But any man who is in Christ has the very righteousness of God imputed to Him and can therefore stand before God unblameable and holy and without blemish and complete in Christ, not because of something he has done b...

Who/What is a Saint?

Romans Introduction   In Romans chapter 1 Paul our Apostle, is addressing the saints that are in Rome. Romans 1: 7 KJB says, "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ." A Saint is anyone who has ever believed the Gospel of the grace of God without works. It isn't someone who tries to earn their way to heaven, or someone who has done miraculous feasts but simply a person who has believed that Christ Jesus's death, burial and resurrection was an atonement for his or her sins. Once you believe the gospel, you have God's very own righteousness imputed to you. You become a new creature in Christ, a member of the body of Christ, given all spiritual blessings in Christ, seated with Christ in the Heavenly places, a child of God, holy and set apart for God, sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, and you now have eternal life! The whole Godhead lives in you, you are complete in Christ...

Who is Paul?

Who is Paul? The risen and ascended Lord Jesus Christ sent the Apostle Paul to be THE appointed Apostle for the dispensation of grace. This means that it is in Paul's Epistles specifically that we get our doctrine for the dispensation of grace, to build up and edify the Believers today. All of scripture is profitable for us but not all of scripture is written specifically to us. No one today is awaiting a worldwide flood like in Noah's time, we are also not under lavitical laws with a priesthood and we are not living in the time of the anti-christ or in the melennial reign of Christ, or in the dispensation of the fulness of times. We are today in the dispensation of grace.  Romans begins with "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God," Paul was sent to preach the Gospel of the grace of God. God's good news for us today is that Christ Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again for our justification and that ...

Romans | Being Established in Sound Grace Doctrine

The book of Romans is foundational doctrine for the believer today. It establishes us in the doctrines of grace. Romans 1:11 says "For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;"  It is an essential gift from God that He has given to us, that through His word rightly divided we can be established in sound grace doctrine so that we can function properly as believers today in the dispensation of the grace of God. We will be able to choose to live Godly, understanding God's will for believers today and participating in the work of the ministry alongside fellow grace believers. We must be established in grace doctrine before we can properly serve God and be helpful towards fellow believers or else we may be trying to live out the Christian life by the efforts of our flesh instead of it being Christ living His life in and through us. The book of Romans establishes us in the grace doctrines so it must be studied first. H...
