Romans 3 Conclusion | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

So far in Romans chapters 1-3 we have learned that Gentiles, Jews and all people are under sin. Religious people are under sin. Newagers are under sin. Athiests are under sin. Buddhists are under sin. Legalistic "Christians" that have never actually believed the gospel of the grace of God without works (and are therefore not really Christians though they might profess to be) are under sin. Any person, regardless of their religious or secular beliefs, whether they are Jew or Gentile are under sin if they have never trusted in Christ's death, burial and resurrection as atonement for their sins.

This literally means that the world is full of spiritually dead people! Their FLESH is fully alive, and all that an unbeliever can do is sin. Before salvation, we (believers) were also under sin and spiritually dead in our trespasses and sins.

Then there are the few true believers in the world. Even if millions of people are really saved, it's a small percentage compared to the billions of people that are on the earth! Believers are dead to sin, dead to the law (which we will learn about in upcoming chapters) and alive unto God. We ought to walk in the Spirit instead of after the flesh, but very few believers actually do this. Most of them look, act and behave just like the world. One reason is that they are not being properly established and edified in sound grace doctrine, because most churches are teaching law-keeping, man's wisdom, church traditions, and worldliness over God's word rightly divided. Another reason is that they simply choose not to walk in the Spirit. They would rather live just like the world and please their own flesh.

As believers we are to be ambassadors for Christ. Think about all of the lost people in this world. So many are on their way to an eternal doom. We can reach out to our family and friends, neighbors and others in our immediate area. If they reject it, you at least planted a seed and they might come around to believing in the future. We need to also make sure that we are sharing a clear gospel message and that we are not trying to add any kind of works to it as a requirement (most of Christendom preaches false gospels, dangerous gospel clichés, and works for salvation).

We've also just learned that we are justified by grace through faith alone without the works of the law. Romans 4 and 5 will go more into detail about this as well as regarding our eternal security in Christ.

If you are NOT saved:

To be saved forever, understand first that you are a sinner and that you cannot save yourself.

Romans 3:23 in the King James Bible says,

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Isaiah 64:6a,b says,

6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;

God is perfect and holy, and unholy people cannot stand before a Holy God.

1 Samuel 2:2 - There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

God is also a righteous judge and will judge all people according to their works. All people will be judged according to Paul's Gospel which is according to whether or not they have simply believed the Gospel of the grace of God  or not, which is how that Christ Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again for our justification.

Romans 2:16

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my [Paul's] gospel.

This gospel is also known as the Gospel of the grace of God and the gospel of Christ.

You cannot earn your way to salvation, you must simply believe how that Christ Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again for your justification. The moment that you SIMPLY BELEIVE that glorious gospel, you are saved forever!

1 Cor 15: 1-4 KJB  "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, 👉how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures"👈
