Romans 5:9-11| Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

Romans 5:9-11 Thank you Father God for this time that we have to spend together reading and studying your word, in particular, Romans chapter 5. In Jesus's name we pray, amen. 9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. From the very moment that we believe the gospel, we are NOW justified by his blood. Christ bought us with his blood. No one is saved without the blood of Christ! He lived a perfect, sinless life and then died for our sins. All that is required for us to be completely forgiven, justified and redeemed is to have faith in what He did for us. It also says here that we shall be saved from wrath. We are saved from hell and the lake of fire, but also from the wrath to come on the earth which is the seven year tribulation. The tribulation occurs AFTER the church the Body of Christ is raptured out. ALL believers from the dispensation of grace will be at the pre-tribulation rapture. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJB 16 For the Lo...

Should Christian Homemakers Try To Be Perfect?| Biblical Womanhood and Homemaking

Should Christian Homemakers Try To Be Perfect? Sometimes in our social media obsessed world, people imagine that homemakers, including Christian homemakers, are perfect or that they must try to be perfect. This pressure to be perfect and to compare ourselves with others is not new. In fact, we can read about jealousy and comparison and it's negative impacts in the old testament between Sarah and Hagar; Rebecca and Leah among others. My purpose in creating these homemaker podcasts and Bible studies are for encouragement and edification, not to shame anyone or to claim to be better than anyone else. The reality is that even as believers, we still have our vile, sinful flesh. The flesh doesn't change. However, as believers, we do have God's Spirit in our spirit and we have the word of God to keep our minds renewed. As believers we are no longer identified with the sin nature, but our identity is in Christ. As Christian wives, mothers and homemakers we can only truly serve God ...

The most importantn Book | Women's Grace Devotional

The most important book in the world   The Bible is the best selling and most read book of all time. It's also freely available online. There are audiobook versions as well. The King James Bible (which is the preserved word of God in the English language) is also the most read version since its first publication. The Bible is the most loved book in the world. It is also the most hated book in the world and billions of people today still have never read it, especially not in its entirety. The King James Bible is also hated by many modern Bible translation readers, who don't believe that it is the preserved word of God for us today in the English language. What the haters don't understand is that they will be judged by that book! Unbelievers will be judged based upon that book, and even believers will be judged based upon how much sound grace doctrine that they understood, believed and obeyed. All people will be judged by the Lord Jesus Christ according to His holy word, t...

Romans 5:6-8 | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

Thank you Father God for this time that we can spend reading and studying your word. In Jesus's name we pray, amen. Romans 5:6-8 6¶For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. When we were still spiritually dead in our trespasses and sins, before believing the gospel of the grace of God, we had no strength or power (as believers, our strength comes from Christ). We didn't even have the power to overcome various sins in our day-to-day lives, and we certainly couldn't serve God. But, as believers, with God's Spirit in our spirit we have victory in Christ Jesus. We can now choose to make better decisions in life, especially as we get more sound grace doctrine in our inner man, and we can labor with God in the gospel (sharing the Gospel with others, teaching sound doctrine etc). While we were still vile sinners, Christ died for us. He didn't die for righteous people, but for sinners and we were ALL sinners before salvation (even as ...

Encourage Other Christian Homemakers

Encourage Other Christian Homemakers It's going to get harder for Homemakers. Just as there will be more apostasy and vile behavior in the world before the Lord returns, we can expect that things will only get worse for the Homemaker before his glorious appearing. Society in general in many nations no longer value or treasure the Homemakers. They do not value traditional marriage, family, or the Christian faith. It's all a part of Satan's plan of evil. So, we should expect to have more criticism from a predominantly unbelieving world. 2 Tim 3:1-7 "1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but den...

Our labouring is not in vain | Women's Grace Devotional

Our labouring is not in vain Philippians 2:16 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. What does vain or vanity mean? In this case the word means: Not effectual; having no efficacy; Empty; Fruitless; worthless; having no substance, value or importance. Paul is saying that the work of the ministry, is not in vain. So, as Christian wives, mothers, homemakers and female bible study teachers our ministry is also not in vain. It's important to remember that: • Our time studying God's Word rightly divided is not in vain. • Obeying our husbands as God commands us, is not in vain. • Raising our children in a clean, safe, comfortable and healthy Christian environment (being keepers at home) is not in vain. • Teaching our children God's word rightly divided is not in vain. • Helping others, especially helping them spiritually, is not in vain. • Sharing the Gospel is not in vain. • Tea...

Romans 5:2-5 | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

Thank you Father God for this time that we can spend reading and studying your word. In Jesus's name we pray, amen. Romans 5:2-5 In previous studies ( https://gracelivingstudies.blogspot.com/2023/11/justified-by-faith-womens-rightly.html?m=1 )  we discussed verse 1 of Romans chapter 5. 1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: The Apostle Paul then goes on to say, 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. "By whom" of course is referring to the Lord Jesus Christ. Because of the finished work of the cross, after we have simply believed the Gospel, we now have peace with God AND we can now "rejoice in hope of the glory of God." We have a blessed hope. The word "hope" in the King James Bible is actually a sure thing; it means having a confident expectation. Our blessed hope includes: • Eternal life in Christ and we can never loos...

Emotional Health for the Christian Homemaker

Emotional Health for the Christian Homemaker   Romans 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Though believers ought to "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep", we each need to also remember that God and his word should always be exalted above our own thoughts, beliefs and feelings. Our feelings can deceive us. Also, we cannot expect our spouse or any other person to meet all of our "emotional needs". We must learn to turn to God to meet our every need and He does so by renewing our minds with the word (we, of course, have to choose for ourselves to read, study and believe it) and through prayer. The more that we have sound grace doctrine built up in our inner man (mind and heart), the more joyful and content we will be, even amidst our sufferings.  It's also VERY important to NOT turn to a person of the opposite sex to talk about your feelings or any possible marital issues that you might have. This can l...

New Creature but Vile Flesh | Women's Grace Devotional

There are two important things to know when you are saved that can help you in your Christian walk as a believer: 1. You have a new identity now in Christ Jesus  2. Your flesh is still vile.   2Co 5:17 KJV -  17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. First, the moment that you recognize your sin nature, and understand that you cannot save yourself and then simply believe the gospel of the grace of God, how that Christ Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again for your justification (1 Cor 15:3-4), you are saved and eternally secure in Christ Jesus. You go from being spiritually dead in your trespasses and sins, to being made spiritually alive in Christ (Eph 2:1; Col 2:13). You have the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16) , by having God's Spirit living in your spirit and His word renewing your mind daily through Bible study as you read and study God's word righ...

Sins -vs- Sins | Romans 5 | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

SIN -VS- SINS Thank you Father God for this time that we can spend reading and studying your word. In Jesus's name we pray, amen. I wanted to discuss today the difference between the word "sin" and "sins" as referred to in Romans chapter 5. This is important to understand especially in regards to understanding our eternal security in Christ and who we are now in Christ. Romans 5:12 says, 12 Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin ; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned : The word sin here is in reference to the sin nature, also known as the adamic nature. As believers, we refer to it also as the "old man" or "the flesh". The word "sinned" or "sins" refers to the individual sins committed as a result of the sin nature. The sin nature is mankind's issue. Every person needs to first acknowledge that they are a sinner. We sin because we have a sin nature. It ...

Biblical Homemaking is not Shameful

In modern society, being a homemaker is almost considered to be a shameful thing. But, it's not! Being a homemaker is a wonderful thing!  Being a full-time homemaker began to be devalued in the 1970s, perhaps even earlier. After the feminist movements, a two-income family became a normal and even sometimes expected thing. Now, if a woman wants to be a homemaker, she will sometimes hear that she will be a burden and that she should be working outside of the home even with having small children. But God sees what you are doing as something incredibly valuable.  Proverbs 31:10 says, "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." Tit 2:5 KJV -  5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Today, I also wanted to share some inspirational quotes with you on homemaking just for some encouragement. Please also see my previous podcasts where I discussed what the Bible s...

Grace and Peace | Women's Grace Devotional

"Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ." - Phil 1:2 KJB All of Paul's thirteen epistles begin, or greet the readers with, "grace and peace" from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, because Paul's epistles are written specifically to Jews and Gentiles in the dispensation of grace, it is written to the whole world. So what does it mean? Is it simply a kind salutation or something more? In 2 Corinthians 5:19 we read, "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation”. What this means is that instead of God pouring out his wrath on a predominantly unbelieving world, he is offering grace and peace to anyone who is willing to believe the gospel of their salvation (which is how that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again for our justification). He's also not chastising...
