Encourage Other Christian Homemakers

Encourage Other Christian Homemakers

It's going to get harder for Homemakers.

Just as there will be more apostasy and vile behavior in the world before the Lord returns, we can expect that things will only get worse for the Homemaker before his glorious appearing. Society in general in many nations no longer value or treasure the Homemakers. They do not value traditional marriage, family, or the Christian faith. It's all a part of Satan's plan of evil. So, we should expect to have more criticism from a predominantly unbelieving world.

2 Tim 3:1-7
"1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Tim 3:12-13
12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Many current Homemakers face various kinds of sufferings and persecution for sticking with traditional values and their Christian faith. They may have spouses, relatives, friends or neighbors trying to degrade them for their godly living and chaste lifestyle or they might simply hear snarky and rude remarks from strangers. They might be raising their children up in God's word only to have a child or more than one child walk away from the faith after being exposed to deceptions, bad influences and carnal living as they get older. Yet others,  whose children do stick with God and His word, will face even more persecution than we do and we can only pray that their children will be believers as well.

There are a lot of lonely Christian homemakers, but they are not truly alone because God is with them. We can also keep these women in mind and pray often for them!

Some young women that
do happen to desire a traditional lifestyle are finding it difficult to find older women role models even in the church. It would be wonderful to see more older Christian women teaching biblical womanhood and offering advice and encouragement on homemaking, marriage and parenting!

But we can still be encouraged in the word and we can encourage one another too. We can also look for the good in our lives and be thankful in all things. We can keep a gratitude list and write down the things we are thankful for daily. We can be kind to others and kind to ourselves too.

Please, reach out to another homemaker today with some encouraging words, a kind notecard, or with a prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 - Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

By drawing inspiration from the Bible and the beloved series “ Little House on the Prairie ,” we can discover how to cultivate joy and peace regardless of our economic circumstances. Biblical Foundations of Contentment The Bible offers profound wisdom on finding contentment and joy, irrespective of material wealth. One of the most powerful verses on this topic is found in Philippians 4:11-13, where Paul writes, “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content . I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which ...
