1 Corinthians 1:10 | Verse by Verse Bible Study

Father God, thank you for this time that we have to read and study your word rightly divided. Please help us to learn how believers can "be of the same mind" and "speak the same thing" and that there be no divisions among us by us rightly dividing the word of truth. In Jesus's name we pray, Amen .  1 Corinthians 1:10 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. This is such an important Bible verse. In Christendom today, the denominations (and evangelicals and fundamentalists) do NOT all speak the same thing and there are all kinds of divisions! There are over 28,000 "Christian" denominations! They can't even agree on the most basic and fundamental doctrines like justification and eternal security. The primary reasons for this are because they  • do not obey 2 Timoth...

1 Corinthians 1:8-9 | Verse by Verse Bible Study

Father God, thank you for this time that we have to read and study your word rightly divided. Father God I pray that as we learn about your goal for us in studying this epistle that we will really take it by heart, believe it and live it out. Thank you Lord. In Jesus's name we pray amen .  1st Corinthians 1:8-9 | God's goal for us (and the Corinthians) in reading/studying this epistle (1st Corinthians).  8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. All believers in the dispensation of grace are righteous and blameless in God's eyes because of Christ's righteousness imputed to us from the moment that we believed the Gospel. This verse is also in reference to our being established, matured and properly edified in sound grace doctrine. We are sanctified from the very moment that we believe the gospel, but we also have a "progressive sanctification as sound grace doctrine is built up in our inner man." 8 ...

Eternally Secure in Christ | Weekly Devotional

Eternally Secure in Him  As believers, we never have to worry that God will abandon us or that we could loose our salvation. This should bring every believer so much joy! Psa 57:7 KJV -  7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. Romans 8:38-39 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 5:11 KJV  11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Rom 15:13 KJV  13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Because, as believers, we are eternally secure in Christ, we can now focus on sharing the Gospel with others, allowing Christ ...

How to Live Godly

How to Live Godly (and mature spiritually through the word) After salvation (to be saved, understand first that you are a sinner and that you cannot save yourself. Then, simply believe how that Christ Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again for your justification): 1. Read - Read God's word daily. It is meant to be our daily bread. Consume it regularly like you would food that you eat, perhaps several times a day. 1Ti 4:13 KJV -  13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Mat 4:4 KJV -  4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 2. Study - Study out God's word. Begin in the book of Romans which is foundational doctrine for us today in the dispensation of grace. Learn to rightly divide the scriptures as well. Study each book in Paul's Epistles first as these are written specifically TO us today, verse by verse and then ...

How to Have Eternal Life

How to Have Eternal Life  To have eternal life, understand first of all that you are a sinner and that you cannot save yourself. Romans 3:23 in the King James Bible says, 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; God is a righteous judge and will judge all people according to their works.  Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. You cannot earn your way to salvation. We are only justified by grace through faith in what Christ Jesus has done for us.  Next, simply believe how that Christ Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again for your justification. 1 Cor 15:3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, 👉how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures"👈 The moment that you SIMPLY BELEIVE that glorious gospel, you are saved forever!  Romans...

Are You In Adam or In Christ?| Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

Romans 5:12 | Are You In Adam or In Christ? Thank you Father God for this time that we can spend reading and studying your word. Thank you Lord for teaching us through your holy word about what it means to be "in Adam" or "in Christ".  In Jesus's name we pray, amen. 12¶ Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Sin leads to death. All unbelievers are sinners and are spiritually dead in their trespasses and sins. If a person dies in their sins, having never believed the gospel, they will spend eternity in the lake of fire. Romans 3:23  in the King James Bible says, 23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Isaiah 64:6a,b says, 6  But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;  Even believers, when we sin it still leads to "death" but in the form of loss of heavenly rewards and really sin doesn't pr...

Chronic Illness and Homemaking

2 Corinthians 12:8-9 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Can you be a Christian homemaker if you have chronic illness and pain? Yes! It won't always be easy and you will have to move at a different pace than other Homemakers but it can be done. Also, it's probably better for women with chronic illness and pain to be homemakers rather than working outside of the home because you can more easily go at your own pace rather than having to meet the demands of a work schedule and work environment, plus having to still manage your home and family at the same time.  As a woman with chronic illness, fatigue and pain myself, I thought that I would share a few helpful tips for being a homemaker with chronic illness, fatigue and pain.  1. ...

Jesus Saves | Women's Grace Devotional

It is only through the Lord Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved. Jesus died for our sins on the cross but he also ROSE FROM THE DEAD so that we too could be raised to new life. No one in the history of the world, including any religious figure, except for the Lord Jesus Christ, died and then rose from the grave in a GLORIFIED BODY and who is STILL ALIVE TODAY in the Heavenly Places waiting to rapture up the Church the Body of Christ at just the right time. After the church is raptured out, when the church the Body of Christ is fully formed and ready to take their place in the heavens, then God will resume his program with Israel.  John 14:6 says, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.  The Lord Jesus Christ was declared to be the Son of God when He was raised from ...

Romans 5:12 and Genesis 3 | Women's Rightly Divided Bible Study

Thank you Father God for this time that we can spend reading and studying your word. In Jesus's name we pray, amen. Romans 5:12 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: This one man is, of course, Adam. Sin had not corrupted the world that God created for man until Adam sinned. Let's look over the verses in Genesis chapter 3. I'll include my own commentary. Next week we will discuss verse 12 of Romans chapter 5 even more. This is very important to understand, so it will be a two-part study. Genesis 3 1¶Now the serpent [Satan] was more subtil [conniving, seductive, deceptive] than any beast [Satan is referred to as both a serpent and as a beast. These are explaining his evil characteristics] of the field [I believe this is referring to all of Gods creation in heaven and earth] which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree ...

Husbands, Love Your Wives| Biblical Womanhood and Homemaking Encouragement

Ephesians 5:25-27 "25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." So what does it mean for a husband to love his wife? This includes him being kind, caring, considerate, compassionate, and encouraging, and especially to be spiritually encouraging to his wife as she deals with the sufferings of godly living. It also includes providing for his wife and family financially and with a safe place to live, food to eat, clothing, and other necessities. It also includes taking care of her when she is ill, disabled or dealing with grief, anxiety or depression.  This is also what it can look like: • Spiritual giving - setting aside his flesh and doing his own Bible study, having Bible studies with you ...

Jesus is God | Grace Devotional for Women

Genesis 14:19 KJB 19And he blessed him, and said, Blessed  be  Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth : The Lord Jesus Christ, who is the living word of God, the second person of the triune Godhead, created all things. John 1:1-3 KJB 1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Col 1:16-17 KJB 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether  they be  thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him : 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. The heavens and the earth, and everything in them, belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. Psalm 89:11 KJB “The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fuln...
